30 Weeks

I can't believe we went to the doctors today for our 30 week check up! It's hard to believe we only have 10 weeks before we meet our beautiful baby girl. We heard Bailey's heartbeat again today. Which is awesome to hear by the way! It was strong and surprisingly she didn't move after the Doppler was placed on my belly. In the past, she would hear her heartbeat and move very quickly, making the nurse fish around for her. Maybe she didn't have anywhere to go.
The doctor did say she would be a large baby...oh no! Ouch! She told us that after she measured my belly, so another words I have a large belly!! Maybe Bailey will be here before March 28th.
She did give me some interesting news...I have a hernia! What, I thought only old people got those. I can remember my granddaddy had one forever. He had a larger belly as a result. She did tell me that it's not uncommon but mine is above my belly button, which is even less common. Normally pregnant women get them below the button. A little FYI this is due to me doing core workouts...I guess you shouldn't do those while you are preggers! After my initial shock, I was able to calm down when she told me it would go away after I deliver. I'll have to keep you updated on the status of my hernia after Bailey is here.
Ok another thing...my belly button! WOW! Before pregnancy I had a deep and nice inney, this has slowly changed! I would give my button about 2 weeks before I have a full blown outie! It will be kinda strange when I rub my belly and hit my new outie!
The hernia and belly button are just a couple of things that have happened to my body since we were blessed with a baby. And I'm sure the list will continue to grow in the next 10 weeks. At least after that we will have a wonderful baby girl. Can't wait!

Nursery Bedding

I know we haven't blogged in awhile, but life has been crazy! But good news...Bailey has bedding for her crib. We don't have a crib yet but at least she has her bedding. I was a little apprehensive to buy it because it was a little pricey. However, we may only be blessed with one little girl. So she gets the best! We will soon get this nursery process started. We will make sure to post pictures of it when it is finished! I can't wait!!!!
